There are many ways to support this great organization. Like most Non-Profit agencies we are dependent on the good will of others. As an Organization that does not receive funding from Government sources, as a matter of choice, we can always use your help.

Cash donations are tax deductible and our crucial to our ability to continue our good work.

Another great way to support our work, and those we serve, is to provide employment to our residents. At any given time we have a population of residents with diverse talents and abilities. Trouble keeping a job or even caring about work is frequently a by product of their substance abuse. We make it clear to our residents that whether just starting or starting over you have to start somewhere. Employment is paramount to individual self worth and opportunity to better one’s self could be the greatest gift ever received.

Lastly, many folks choose to support our organization by participating in our annual fundraising events. These include a Benefit Golf Tournament, a Halloween Dance, A Comedy Show/Ice Cream Social and our Semi-Annual Yard Sales. Current Campaign

The South Bay Pioneers is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We are not state or federally funded. The nominal fees we collect for our service are merely an offset of our actual operational costs. We are grateful to be supported by individual members of Alcoholics Anonymous, local businesses in our community and individuals who are appreciative of the work we do.

Truly a grass roots organization, we do pretty well to cover our day to day expenses but must appeal to our community for assistance with major projects. All donations received are tax deductible and greatly appreciated.

Our current campaign is directed at the continued refurbishment of our aging facility. Our next project is to replace the old, single pane windows with Energy Efficient Dual Pane Low E windows. This will help to reduce our energy consumption and improve living conditions for our residents. This improvement would also bring an added measure of security to the building. Our last major project, the repair, repaving and restriping of our parking lot came directly out of our budget. The parking lot is in great shape now but the maintenance fund is not, which makes your support not only appreciated but important. I hope you will consider helping us to continue to provide the housing, food, and support vital to those we serve.
