The 3rd Annual Benefit Golf Tournament to support the "South Bay Pioneers" is set to take place Friday, September 18th at the Bonita Golf Club in Chula Vista. The Pioneers is a 501c3 non profit organization established in 1961 that provides a structured residential environment for adult men and women addressing their alcoholism and other addictions. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the continued refurbishment of their facility which serves both residents and the entire recovery community. Registration begins at 12pm followed by a 1:30pm shotgun start with a four-man scramble format. The cost is $85.00 per golfer and includes a box lunch and goodie bag! There will also be raffle prizes, fun and fellowship! There's also a "Hole in One" contest for a new car, thanks to Ron Baker Chevrolet!
